Donor Programs for the Scandinavian School in San FranciscoThe Scandinavian School in San Francisco is a non-profit organization founded to instruct children and adults in Scandinavian cultures, traditions and languages. With the support of its many friends, the Scandinavian School has dramatically improved its program offering, activities and its services to the Scandinavian Community. But our mission is not yet complete. Like other independent schools, contributions to the Scandinavian School help bridge the gap between tuition revenues and the full cost of operating an exceptional school.
The Scandinavian school welcomes both monetary and in-kind donations and listed below are the different donor programs and various ways that you can contribute. Gifts at all levels are greatly appreciated! Please join us in founding a legacy of Scandinavian language education in San Francisco and make your commitment to the Scandinavian School in San Francisco.
Of even greater importance is unrestricted giving. These gifts, which are used to fund the school’s highest priorities, give the Directors the flexibility to direct resources where they are most needed. Please contact us directly to discuss these opportunities.
Another way for companies to create tremendous visibility and goodwill is to become a “Matching Gifts Company”. Corporations can offer to match any donations given at a particular fundraising event, up to a certain limit. This means that any amount donated by someone at that event will be matched and thus effectively doubled through the contribution of the Matching Company. 3 In-Kind DonationsSchool Materials
