We are happy to offer Finnish classes for the very first time! The classes will be held at The Scandinavian School, 20 Woodside Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94127. The course consists of eight weekly lessons; each lesson will be 90 minutes.
The cost for the eight-week course is $280, plus a materials charge of about $40, there is also a one-time registration fee of $25 for new students.

Each year we have four semesters; two in the spring and two in the fall. You sign up for one semester at a time. If you plan to take a class, please contact our language program coordinator at languageclasses@scandinavianschool.org so we know the size of the class in advance. Your Teacher – Hanna Artman
Hanna came to San Francisco in the summer of 2012 from Shanghai, where she taught Finnish to children in a local Finnish school and worked as a marketing manager. Before moving to China, she was employed for many years in communications and journalism in Helsinki. Hanna has a master’s degree in Finnish from the University of Helsinki and she also has studied Estonian at the University of Tartu. Right now her heart lies in teaching Finnish and freelance writing. She has two young children, a husband and plenty of hobbies from stand up comedy to crosswords puzzels.
