Summer Camps

The Scandinavian School will offer several different summer camp sessions for preschoolers and school aged children (K-3) in 2009. The programs we will offer are outlined below. Children must be of 3 years or older to attend camp at the Scandinavian School. Please check on availability at Johanna.nordwall@gmail.com before sending in an application. Families with children already enrolled in our programs are given priority in the enrollment for summer camp.

We try to keep summer camp similar to our usual schedule so that our regular children feel at home, but with specific themes every week to add excitement and take advantage of the smaller groups.

We will read stories, do dramatic play and illustrate the different themes for each week – take a look at them below. We will of course also spend a lot of time outdoors. These Summer Camps are an excellent way for children to get intense language exposure e.g. before a trip to visit family in Scandinavia.
