Skål & Style

Scandinavian Costumes, Artisanal Food, Chocolate & Wine Fest

Celebrate Nordic culture in grand style at Skål & Style, an elegant gathering uniting nine Bay Area Nordic organizations, the Scandinavian School and Cultural Center being one of them, for an unforgettable afternoon of artisanal wines, craft confections, Nordic cuisine, live music, and cultural pageantry.

Held at the historic Swedish American Hall, the event features authentic folk costumes, a ceremonial Hussar Color Guard and provincial flag parade, performances by the Zaida Singers and Walström nyckelharpa duo, remarks from Sweden's Consul General for San Francisco Cecilia Ekholm, and Michelin-recognized Nordic canapés by Chef Roberth Sundell of Stockhome.

Guests will enjoy curated tastings from acclaimed Scandinavian wineries, breweries, chocolatiers, and confectioners while immersing themselves in the rich traditions, flavors, and heritage of the Nordics.
