In Swedish 12–14, students begin to develop their reading and writing skills in Swedish in a supportive and guided environment. As many students are still young and relatively new to online learning, classes are structured to provide support, interaction, and guidance throughout activities and exercises.
Students gradually work on developing spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and familiarity with a range of different text types.
The course also introduces basic literary and informational texts in Swedish, helping students explore different themes and styles of texts while expanding their vocabulary and understanding of language nuances.
Language Requirements:
Students should understand and speak Swedish. The corse is entirly conducted in Swedish

Swedish Online for Highschool (with possible Tisus Preparation)

This course develops students from basic academics skills to upper-intermediate level, with a focus on improving grammar and generally developing the language skills. The students work across reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Throughout the course, students build a strong foundation in Swedish grammar, including verb systems, sentence structure, and word order, enabling them to express themselves with increasing accuracy and variation.
Depending on the starting point of the students, this course can progress over 1-3 years. For those students who start the course with stronger Swedish skills, and who wish to take the Tisus test in May, there is a possibility to bridge over to the Tisus preparation course that starts in January.

Beginner Swedish for High School & College (Online)

This is a course suitable highschool students who have overheard the Swedish language at home but never developed a spoken or written language, or for high school/college students interested in learning Swedish. In this class we start from the beginning and build basic skills the first year.
Swedish Beginner for high school (Year 1)
The beginner year builds a foundation in Swedish, focusing on essential communication skills and language structure. Students develop their abilities across reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Understanding short, simple texts (dialogues, basic informational texts)
Writing simple sentences and short texts about familiar topics
Forming questions (yes/no and open questions)
Developing basic sentence structure and clarity

Introducing oneself and others

Tisus Preparation Course

Course Duration: January 6, 2026 – May 5, 2027

The Tisus Preparation Course is aimed for students with a confirmed Swedish level. The focus of the course is Academic Writing, advanced Reading Comprehension and Tisus Preparation.
Target Group: A high level of Swedish is required to follow this course. The students must have fluent oral skills and read and write in Swedish.

Strategies for reading and analyzing non-fiction and argumentative texts
Writing practice aligned with Tisus requirements
Mock Tisus tests
