Viking Run is back for another year!

SSCC´s Viking Run - a fundraiser for the school - features

• For adults: 5K or 2K walk/run

• For Youth 7-14 years: 5K or 2K walk/run

• Kids' Dashes: 80 yards 2 - 3 years, 200 yards 4 - 6 years
  

Bring your friends, family and anyone you know with you - Create a team or run or walk as an individual - or just join for the activities and picnic - the choice is yours.

Itinerary:

7:30 AM Registration opens

8:15 AM Warm-up with Coach Tilda

8:30 AM The race begins for 5K and 2K runners! First runners, then walkers and strollers.

9:15 After-Run Yoga with Andrea Tegstam

9:30 AM Kids dash (80 yrds 2-3 years, 200 yrds 4-6 years)

10:00 Best costumes and runners announced.

Location :

The Pioneer Log Cabin picnic area in Golden Gate Park , located on 2 Blue Heron Lake Drive, the south side – right after it splits off from John F. Kennedy Drive. Please find a map here   .  

When driving to the picnic area, travel on Blue Heron Lake Drive. Keep in mind that cars are not allowed on John F. Kennedy Drive, but free parking is available along Blue Heron Lake Drive or Martin Luther King Jr Drive.

Please allow ample time to find parking and to check in at the registration which opens at 7:30AM.
