Language Programs for Adults
Do you want to learn a Scandinavian Language?
Every week, the Scandinavian School and Cultural Center welcomes over 100 students through our Adult Language Program. We offer Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Danish classes at all levels—from beginner to advanced. Each course includes 8 weekly lessons, and we run two course sessions per semester: two in the spring and two in the fall. Our beginners classes start in August and in January.
Our levels are structured to support steady progress throughout the year and are divided into four parts: 1a, 1b, 2a, and 2b. Most students begin at level 1a and continue step by step toward fluency.
What sets us apart as a school is our commitment to a personal, interactive online learning. Even though our classes are held online, they are always live and teacher-led, with small groups that foster active participation and real conversation. All of our teachers are native speakers or near-native speakers with extensive teaching experience—and they bring our personal, engaging teaching style to every class.
